p-packcre8radix is a member of the p-pack. the p-pack is a berlin-collabo of activists from all fields of the communication sector. It represents a movement of people who organize themselves in order to fulfill their interests (the p stands for progressive networking). furthermore, the p-pack is the mothership of networks. one network is linked with another. It is all about hyperlinks. the p-pack is a collabo in progress.Das p-pack wurde 1993 von Mitgliedern der Bands CPS, Jambalaya Tribe und Gunjah gegründet. Ziel des p-packs war und ist es zu erreichen, "daß die musiker die kontrolle darüber behalten, was mit ihrer Musik passiert". p-pack records wurde geboren. Über die Jahre sind diverse Remixes, Singles, EPs und Produktionen (Gunjah, CPS, Das Department, Mellow Mark, B&K, H-Blockx, Die Erben Der Scherben, usw). erschienen, auf denen das p-pack seine Finger im Spiel hat. Im Augenblick arbeiten Mitglieder des p-packs an verschiedenen Projekten im multimedialen Bereich (u.a. tribalradix, copycan, espians), bauen die Struktur des Kollektivs aus und veranstalten Parties und Konzerte. Das P-Pack umfäßt derzeit folgende Musiker aus den Bereichen Hip Hop, Elektronik, Dub, Neolektro und Punkrock: Bruder&Kronstädta, Yaneq, Gauner, Joseph Boys und Raziel Jamaerah. |
copycandigital content that exists can technically be copied, and in most cases gets copied many times. copycan acknowledges this situation: authors receive money for their work without the restrictive methods of the digital content industry. the artist uploads his work in digital form (e.g. music files), and a preview of it to copycan.org. he announces the amount of money he would like to have for releasing his work to the commons under a free license like the gnu gpl. people transfer money to the trusted party's account with reference to the particular artist. if the announced amount is reached, the artist gets paid, the content gets released and is from then on freely available. the files can be copied and distributed through filesharing networks. culture is flowing freely, artist and consumers are happy. cre8radix is gonna release all his content into the c* freeculture structure - so please do check out the "copycan project" |
ampify - plexnetthe espians are currently working on ampify.ampify is a flexible social interaction and publishing system. users can message other users in single, group, or broadcast fashion, in either public or private spaces. they may also create special kinds of messages called items which can then be annotated to do things within the system. for example, a user may create a ´proposal´ item which can then be voted on by other members of a group. when this is combined with other facilities such as attachments, renderers, links, and transclusions, the simple but well chosen basics of the system become potentially very customisable. read the plexnet bootstrap and the 24 concepts of espra. |
guerillawalkscre8radix is guerillawalking along with oliver hangl and p.a. knopf. based on an analysis of the local relation of public and private space we stage a series of guided guerilla audio-tours through various streets and districts of poznan, in which the participants are led via wireless headphone-systems. By commenting and fictionalizing places and (inter)actions, the guides will navigate through various outdoor and indoor public and private territory and spaces, always entering without prior notice. moreover, the participants are enticed to become active themselves, but also reactions and statements of bypassers and residents will be integrated into the livestreams. |
